FEP designed and installed a new 500-ton HVAC system for the renovation of a 300,000 square foot commercial/retail shopping center. The scope of work included the installation of new rooftop gas-powered Lennox HVAC units, with some units specifically designed for Planet Fitness featuring high-efficiency controls. Additionally, a 65-ton Season 4 gas rooftop unit with built-in moisture removal and low sensible heat ratios was installed for Giant Food. The project also involved the design and installation of complete ductwork packages for new drops into tenant spaces across the three-story building. Turnkey ductwork and GRD installation packages were provided for tenants such as Ashley’s, PLCB, Mattress Warehouse, and Starbucks.

The extensive ice melt system for this project was installed at the Giant Food loading dock, which is situated below grade and serves the tenant’s lower floor for all product deliveries. This design-build project included the installation of a new techMARK master control system and thousands of feet of piping for the 5,700-square-foot glycol system in the loading dock. The system was heated through a cascaded Viessmann boiler setup, featuring Vitedens and Vitotronic boiler controls, a heat exchanger, outdoor temperature and moisture sensors, and a Bell & Gossett circulator pump.

FEP completed the turnkey installation for two daycare buildouts, which included the installation of new gas rooftop HVAC units, ductwork, and duct insulation. The scope of work also involved the installation of new grilles, registers, and diffusers, as well as restroom and kitchen exhaust systems, unit heaters, and factory start-up services for both a 14,000-square-foot and a 9,000-square-foot daycare tenant space.

The Vault HVAC project was in a 70,000-square-foot, multi-level storage facility. FEP collaborated with the MEP designer of record to implement a new Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system. The system featured three main outdoor units connected to 21 indoor units via refrigerant piping, providing both cooling and heating to individual zones throughout the facility.

We provided design-assist services for this restaurant and main office. Our team installed new rooftop gas HVAC systems, spiral ductwork and insulated ductwork, fans, and exhaust systems for the kitchen, restrooms, and manufacturing areas. We also coordinated the process equipment and the piping and cooling tower for the water and distilling systems. We installed a CaptiveAir Ansul hood system for the commercial kitchen, as well as general ductwork for the main office and customer lounge.

Punch Line is a restaurant and entertainment venue in Philadelphia. Our team installed new HVAC gas systems, spiral ductwork, insulated ductwork, and general ductwork for the office and customer area. We also installed fans and exhaust systems throughout the commercial kitchen and restrooms, including a fireproofing hood kitchen system.
